Defense Ministry increases monetary rewards to ATO participants

Defense Minister of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak has signed a decree to increase monetary rewards to servicepersons performing combat tasks in the ATO zone.

Colonel Oksana Havryliuk, Chief of Defense Ministry’s Communications and Press Directorate, stated this at a press briefing on Tuesday, January 31, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“According to the decree, monetary rewards worth UAH 6,000 will be paid to military personnel who serve along the contact, and UAH 2,200 will be paid to those who serve in other deployment places within the ATO zone,” Havryliuk said.
