Militants launch 56 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Militants launched 56 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in ATO area in Donbas over the past day. Five Ukrainian soldiers were killed and another nine were wounded.

This is reported by the ATO press center.

As noted, in Mariupol direction, the enemy slammed 20 rockets from Grad multiple rocket launcher into Ukrainian positions near Talakivka (20km north-west of Mariupol). In addition, terrorists used Grad MLRS, 122mm artillery, mortars, grenade launchers and small arms to fire at Vodiane (16km north-west of Donetsk). ATO troops also came under grenade launcher and small arms fire in Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol), Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol), Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol), Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk), Talakivka.

In Donetsk direction, militants used mortars of different calibers to shell Verkhniotoretske (22km north-east of Donetsk), Avdiyivka (18km north of Donetsk), Opytne (11.5km north-west of Donetsk), Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk), Zaitseve (67km north-north-east of Donetsk), Kamyanka (62km south of Donetsk).

In Luhansk direction, militants fired at Novooleksandrivka (65km west of Luhansk), Troitske (69km west of Luhansk), Popasna (90 km north-west of Luhansk), and Novozvanivka (70km west of Luhansk), using mortars and grenade launchers.
