U.S. Senate may approve $350 mln in military assistance to Ukraine already this week

The U.S. Senate may finally approve USD 350 million in military assistance to Ukraine, stipulated in the Pentagon's budget for 2017 fiscal year, before the end of this week.
Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine for European and Euro-Atlantic integration Ivanna Klympush-Tsyntsadze said this in a commentary to an Ukrinform correspondent.
"As you know, the House of Representatives has already made decision to allocate $350 million in security assistance to Ukraine next year. Having held meetings in the Senate, I have every reason to hope that it will be approved by the senators already this week," said the Ukrainian official, who is currently on a visit to Washington.
