Pakistan offers Ukraine to establish joint defense enterprises

“I know that the Ukrainian defence industry is well-developed. Hence, I would like to initiate the extension of our relationship and consider possibility of establishment of joint enterprises in this sphere. Your experience in shipbuilding and development of information technologies is also interesting for us,” President of Pakistan said.

The Ukrainian Defense Minister, in turn, thanked the President of Pakistan for an opportunity to meet and discuss the issues important for the both countries.

“I’m also reasonably sure the potential for cooperation is not yet exhausted as we have a lot of long-term projects, especially, in tank building. Currently, we are interested in establishment of the concern to produce armament and ammunition. We have already achieved some agreements in this sphere. We’ve agreed that our experts will arrive to your country to study experience in order to begin this production. Concerning extension of our cooperation I would like to stress upon that Ukraine always keeps its promises and agreements,” General Stepan Poltorak underscored.
