OSCE Special Representative in the Trilateral Contact Group on settlement of Donbas conflict Martin Sajdik has stated that the Group began to fulfill the agreements reached in Berlin on finding new areas for separation of forces and equipment on the contact line in Donbas.

According to Sajdik, each side of the Trilateral Contact Group meeting in Minsk expressed its proposals, which were discussed in the security subgroup, Radio Liberty reports.

"The meeting reaffirmed strong support of the Trilateral Contact Group for separation of forces and equipment along the contact line. We see this as a decisive factor in strengthening mutual trust," Sajdik said following the Minsk meeting on October 26.

He informed that the issue of deployment of the armed OSCE mission in Donbas had not been discussed this time.
