Russian-backed militants launched 38 attacks on Ukrainian positions in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) in eastern Ukraine over the past day, the press center of the ATO headquarters reports.
In Luhansk direction, 15 ceasefire violations were recorded. Terrorists shelled Novooleksandrivka, Novozvanivka, Trokhizbenka, using small arms, grenade launchers and machine guns.
In Donetsk direction, six ceasefire violations were recorded. Militants used small arms, grenade launchers, machine guns to shell Ukrainian troops near Avdiivka, Zaitseve and Novhoroske.
In Mariupol direction, terrorists launched 17 attacks on Ukrainian positions. The enemy opened fire from small arms near the villages of Hranitne and Pavlopil, heavy machine guns in the village of Shyrokyne, and infantry fighting vehicles near the village of Starohnativka.
