Russian-backed militants violated ceasefire 20 times in eastern Ukraine over the past day.
This is reported by the ATO Headquarters press center.
"In Donetsk direction, Russian-backed militants used heavy machine guns and small arms to shell Verkhniotoretske (22km north-east of Donetsk). In addition, terrorists used grenade launchers, small arms, and 82mm mortars to fire at Ukrainian troops in Avdiyivka [18km north of Donetsk)]," the statement reads.
In Mariupol direction, the enemy shelled positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol), using infantry combat vehicles, small arms, and grenade launchers.
