Ukraine expects artillery systems from Germany

Ukrainian Ambassador to Germany Andriy Melnyk said this in an interview with Reuters.

"We expect strengthening defensive weapons, artillery positioning systems, intelligence systems," Melnyk said. As reported, this is the only way to strengthen the Ukrainian army.

As a reminder, the ruling Germany’s Christian Democratic Union supported the idea to provide Ukraine with a larger number of reconnaissance assets and defensive weapons.
