Maryinka checkpoint temporarily closed due to shelling

The Maryinka checkpoint has been temporarily closed due to shelling by militants.

This has been reported by the press service of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

"Today, at 6 a.m., the Donetsk-Kurakhovo road corridor was to be opened, militants began shelling the Maryinka control post. Fire was launched at the checkpoint in the direction of the forest sector near the village of Oleksandrivka, located in the uncontrolled territories," the report said.

 No casualties have been reported due to the shelling.
