Officers of the Security Service of Ukraine have detained two militants in Luhansk and Donetsk Regions, one of whom turned out to be a foreign mercenary, the press office of the Security Service of Ukraine reports.
"Law-enforcement officers detained him in Luhansk Region in cooperation with the military during an attempt to cross the demarcation line. The militant was trying to penetrate into the government-controlled area of Stanytsia Luhanska village in Luhansk Region. When Ukrainian law-enforcement officers searched him, they found a passport of a citizen of a South Caucasian country, a migration card issued by the relevant Russian service, and a military card of the 'LPR' terrorist organization," reads the statement.
