ATO headquarters: Militants launched 39 attacks on Ukrainian troops in last day

"Most of the attacks, 22, were recorded in Mariupol area. In particular, the enemy in violation of the Minsk agreements used 122mm artillery and 120mm mortars to shell Krasnohorivka. Besides, the Ukrainian positions were shelled by grenade launchers of various systems, large-caliber machine guns and small arms in Shyrokyno, Marinka and Novotroitske,” reads a report.  

The situation was also tense In Donetsk area, where 17 cases of ceasefire violation were recorded. In particular, in Avdiyivka, the enemy used 120mm and 82mm mortars, grenade launchers, large machine guns and small arms against the Ukrainian soldiers.

Also, militants used mortars to shell the ATO positions in Nevelske, Zaitseve and near the Butovka mine. In Pisky, Novhorodske and Novoselivka, Russian-backed militants used anti-aircraft mount.

In Luhansk area, the situation was rather calm in the last day.
