British military instructors plan to complete training of 4,000 Ukrainian servicemen in Ukraine until March 2017.

Philip Hammond, the British Secretary of State for Foreign & Commonwealth Affairs, said this to journalists on the sidelines of the Warsaw NATO Summit, an Ukrinform correspondent in Poland reports.

"We have a very active cooperation with Ukraine. The UK will train 4,000 Ukrainian servicemen until March 2017," Hammond said.

He stressed that the process of Montenegro’s joining NATO proved that NATO’s door was open to all the countries, including Ukraine.

Hammond expressed hope for further deepening of cooperation between NATO and Ukraine with a significant contribution of the UK, particularly, to training of Ukrainian servicemen.
