Militants launch 56 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas

Russian-backed militants launched 56 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, using weapons banned under Minsk agreements in some cases, over the past day.
This is reported by the ATO Headquarters press center.
"In Donetsk direction, the invaders used 122mm artillery to fire at our strongholds near Avdiyivka [18km north of Donetsk]. The enemy also used 12 mm mortars to shell Avdiyivka, Zaitseve [67km north-north-east of Donetsk], Luhanske [59km north-east of Donetsk]," the report says.
As noted, Ukrainian servicemen also came under fire outside Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol), Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk), Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk).
