Over 149,500 servicemen get status of combat action participants

Since the start of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) in eastern Ukraine, over 149,500 servicemen of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have acquired the status of participant of combat actions.
Ukrainian Defense Ministry Spokesperson Colonel Viktoria Kushnir said this at a briefing on Friday, an Ukrinform correspondent report.
“Since the start of ATO, over 149,500 servicemen and military staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have received the status of participant of combat actions,” she said.
The ministry’s spokesperson also added that last week 135 Ukrainian servicemen received valuable gifts from the Defense Ministry.
