Two soldiers injured in trip mine explosion in Luhansk region

Last Tuesday, two Ukrainian servicemen suffered shrapnel wounds after a trip mine went off in Popasna district of the Luhansk region, the press service of the Luhansk regional military and civil administration reports.

"Two defenders of Ukraine were injured in a trip mine blast. The serviceman were taken to a hospital in Popasna town. Their injuries were rated of medium gravity," the press service cited the head of the Luhansk region Yuri Harbuz.

In addition, the terrorists opened fire by using grenade launcher AGS-17 at Ukrainian military near the town of Shchastya approximately at 14.00. The shelling was carried out from the side of village Vesela Hora which is located in the area currently controlled by the so-called "LPR". No casualties of the incident were reported.
