Poroshenko demands reduction in senior staff of law enforcement agencies

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has said that number of leading officer posts in Ukraine’s law enforcement agencies should be cut.

The president wrote this on his official Twitter page.

“The Defense Ministry, the Interior Ministry, the Security Service, the State Border Guard Service, the National Guard, the External Intelligence, the Department of the State Guard, the State Emergency Service should reduce the number of their heads. Young commanding officers have proven their right to direct the army on the battlefield. I’m waiting for relevant proposals from the leadership of law enforcement agencies,” Poroshenko stated.
