Lithuania to help train Ukrainian armed forces

On Monday, the heads of the defence ministries of Ukraine and Lithuania will sign a memorandum of understanding on the implementation of the activities of the military training of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

This is reported by the press service of the Defence Ministry of Ukraine.

 "On Monday, April 18, Defence Minister of Ukraine, General of the Army of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak will meet with Minister of National Defence of Lithuania Juozas Olekas and the negotiations between the delegations will be held at the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine," reads the statement.

Following the talks, the parties plan to sign a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine and the Ministry of National Defence of the Republic of Lithuania on the implementation of the activities of the military training of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
