Militants launch 87 attacks on Ukrainian troops

"The situation in the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions remains tense. The illegal armed groups launched 87 attacks on the ATO forces over past 24 hours," reads the report.

As noted, the enemy used mortars 22 times in violation of the ceasefire. Most of the mortar attacks were launched on the Ukrainian positions in Avdiyivka (18km north of Donetsk).

The terrorists also used the weapons, banned under the Minsk Agreements, to fire at the Ukrainian troops in Novhorodske (34km north of Donetsk), Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk), Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol), Pisky (12km north-west of Donetsk), Zaitseve (67km north-north-east of Donetsk) and Opytne (11.5km north-west of Donetsk).
