Ukrainian intelligence identifies three Russian generals who fought in Luhansk region

Ukrainian military intelligence has discovered location and posts of the cadre Russian generals who personally took part in the Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine during 2014-2015 while holding command positions in the 2nd Army Corps (Luhansk city) of the Russian Armed Forces. 

The first of the generals is Major-General Sergei Kuzovlev was found in Russia.

"Major-General Kuzovlev Sergei Yurevych, who commanded the 2nd Army Corps (Luhansk) of the Russian Armed Forces from the end of 2014 to the spring of 2015, afterwards he was appointed Commander of the 20th Army in Voronezh, Russia, in the Western Military district (St. Petersburg) of the Russian Armed Forces," a statement said.

The second military officer - Lieutenant-General Sergei Yudin is now holding the post of chief for organizational-mobilization management of Western Military district also in Russia.

"Lieutenant-General Sergei Sergeyevich Yudin, who commanded 2nd Army Corps (Luhansk) of the Russian Armed Forces in 2015, has returned to the post of chief for organizational and mobilization management of the Western Military district (St. Petersburg) of the Russian Armed Forces," a statement notes.

The third general is Major-General Oleg Tsekov of the Russian Armed Forces is also serving in Russia where he was promoted to Major-General for carrying out criminal orders in the temporarily occupied territories of Eastern Ukraine.
