Militants use heavy weapons to shell Ukrainian troops

The militants stepped up attacks on the ATO troops in eastern Ukraine last evening.
This is reported by the ATO Headquarters press center.
"After a relative lull and the diminished number of attacks during the day, the militants stepped up their attacks on the Ukrainian positions outside Novotroitske [32km south of Donetsk], Zaitseve [67km north-north-east of Donetsk], Troitske [69km west of Luhansk]," reads the statement .
As noted, the Russian mercenaries fired at the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces using 120mm and 82mm mortars in violation of the Minsk Agreements.
In addition, the militants used heavy machine guns, grenade launchers and small arms to shell the ATO troops near Avdiyivka (18km north of Donetsk), Novhorodske (34km north of Donetsk) and Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk).
