ATO headquarters: Militants fired mortars on Avdiivka overnight

The Russia-backed military units in Donbas fired various weapons, including small arms, grenade launcher and 120-and 82-millimeter caliber mortars, on the Ukrainian army positions overnight.
The anti-terrorist operation (ATO) headquarters reports.
“The enemy opened fire on our positions 38 times over the past twenty-four hours,” reads a report.
Only in the area near Avdiivka, terrorists from 6 p.m. till midnight fired mortars 7 times on the Ukrainian positions.
The militants also attacked the Ukrainian positions near Pisky, Opytne and Luhanske.
The Russia-backed soldiers also used small arms to attack Mariynka and Shyrokyno.
