Over 9,000 people killed in conflict in Donbas

The United Nations Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine has stated that 9.167 people have been killed in Donbas conflict, eastern Ukraine.

Fiona Frazer, head of the mission said during the13th report on the human rights situation in Ukraine.

“Since the beginning of the conflict, over 30,000 people have been injured, including at least 9,167 killed and 21,000 wounded,” she said.

According to her, this number includes citizens, servicemen and participants of “various armed groups” in Donbas.

Frazer also added that during the monitoring over the situation in Ukraine 26,000 experts were involved, who worked with all of the sides of the armed conflict.
