Financial rewards paid to ATO soldiers in line with new procedure – defense ministry

Financial rewards have been fully paid to the Ukrainian servicemen, the ATO participants, in line with a new procedure on the record keeping of military personnel.
Oleksiy Chornobai, a representative of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, said this at a briefing in Kyiv on Friday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“In accordance with the new procedure, the ATO headquarters has sent a request to provide the personnel of military units with financial rewards, which currently have been fully funded,” Chornobai said.
The defense ministry’s representative stressed that earlier the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces had approved the improved procedure the record keeping of military personnel, deployed in the ATO area in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, depending on the location of military task performance.
