More than 117,000 military personnel granted status of combatant in Armed Forces

Today, the status of combatant has been already granted to 117,354 military and staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Defense Ministry spokeswoman Viktoriya Kushnir has announced at a press conference in Kyiv Tuesday, Ukrinform reports.
"Today, status of a combatant has been already granted to 117,354 persons serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine," Kushnir said.
She added that last week commissions of the defense ministry and the Armed Forces on granting status of a combatant to citizens have granted this status to 8,889 military personnel and staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who participated in the ATO.
