In Donbas 25 residents killed in trip wire mine blasts in 2015

Over the last year, 25 civilian residents, including four children, were killed as a result of detonation of enemy trip-wire mines and other explosive devices in Donetsk region.

Presidential Administration Spokesman on ATO issues, Andriy Lysenko stated at a briefing on Monday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“In 2015, as a result of detonation of enemy trip-wire mines, mines and other unknown explosive devices in Donetsk region, a total of 25 civilians were killed, of which 4 were children,” Lysenko said.

The spokesman also noted that yesterday two residents of Kostiantynivka were injured in the enemy trip-wire mine blast in the forest belt near the village of Leninske in Donetsk region. The victims received medical care.
