"At night, the militants again shelled Ukrainian positions in order to provoke our soldiers into returning fire," reads the statement.
As noted, the situation outside Donetsk Airport remains tense. The enemy opened fire on the Ukrainian positions near Pisky (12km north-west of Donetsk). In addition, the pro-Russian militants used grenade launchers to shell Opytne (11.5km north-west of Donetsk). The terrorists also used mortars to fire on Butovka coal mine (11.4km north-west of Donetsk).
In general, the militants shell the ATO troops a total of 17 times over the past day.
