The situation in the ATO area remains tense. The militants continue using small arms, mortars and grenade launchers to shell Ukrainian positions.

The tensest situation was observed near Horlivka (39 km north-east of Donetsk). The Kremlin’s mercenaries used small arms and grenade launchers to open provocative fire on the strongholds of ATO forces outside Mayorske (45km north of Donetsk), Zaitseve (67km north-north-east of Donetsk), Novhorodske (34km north of Donetsk).
Over the past day, the enemy shelled positions of the Ukrainian troops 48 times.
