Poltorak and Muzhenko promoted to rank of general

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has conferred the rank of general of army to Ukrainian General Staff Chief Viktor Muzhenko and to Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak.
The relevant decree was posted on the presidential Web site.
“To confer military rank of general of the Ukrainian Army to General-Colonel, Ukrainian General Staff Chief Viktor Muzhenko and to General-Colonel, Ukrainian Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak,” reads the document.
