Russian agent arrested in Khmelnytskyi for planning to blow up military cars

The investigation revealed that the suspect tracked the parking locations of Ukrainian soldiers’ cars, photographed these sites, and attempted to identify nearby surveillance cameras.
The Russians planned to use this intelligence to infiltrate parking lots, plant explosives in military vehicles, and detonate them.
SSU officers detained the agent while she was conducting reconnaissance near a parking lot.
According to cyber experts and SSU investigators, a local recruited by the FSB was involved in planning the terrorist attacks. She came to the Russians’ attention after posting pro-Kremlin comments on the banned social network Odnoklassniki.
The investigation also revealed that she had been monitoring backup command posts of the Defense Forces and railway stations with military echelons.
It was documented that the agent recorded potential targets on camera while holding her phone to her ear, pretending to be on a phone call.
During searches, a smartphone containing evidence of her work for the enemy was seized from her.
SSU investigators informed the detainee of her suspicion under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (treason committed under martial law).
The suspect is being held in custody without the right to bail. She faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
As reported by Ukrinform, the Counterintelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine detained a Russian agent in the Donetsk region who was coordinating Russian airstrikes against Ukrainian Defense Forces in the Pokrovsk area.
