Russian mole directing missiles at AFU units detained in Cherkasy region
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the SBI.
From November 2024 to May 2025, the soldier communicated via messenger with a former militant of the so-called “DPR” who currently serves in the Russian Armed Forces. He passed on the exact coordinates of the location of units and military equipment, as well as the personal data of military personnel — their surnames and telephone numbers.

“In particular, the suspect provided information about the location of his unit, stationed in the Cherkasy region. The traitor deliberately refused remuneration for his actions, explaining this by his support for the ideology of the aggressor country,” the SBI said.
In one case, immediately after the data was transferred, a missile strike was launched on the military unit. The traitor himself had left on a business trip to another region at that time.
Law enforcement officers detained the suspect. His place of residence and the homes of his relatives were searched. Computer equipment, mobile phones, flash drives, hard drives, and other data storage devices confirming his illegal activities were seized.
During the investigation, it was established that the suspect had provided the Russians with the coordinates of military facilities in the Cherkasy, Zhytomyr, Rivne, and Donetsk regions. Ukrainian military personnel were killed as a result of the missile strikes.
The detainee was notified of suspicion of high treason committed under martial law (Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The article provides for punishment in the form of life imprisonment.
The court chose a preventive measure for him — detention without the right to bail.
As reported by Ukrinform, the Security Service of Ukraine in Kharkiv detained an agent of Russian military intelligence (better known as the GRU) who coordinated missile and bomb strikes on military targets in the city.
