The prime ministers of Ukraine, Lithuania and Poland have discussed the challenges related to Russia's destruction of Ukraine's energy infrastructure.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said this during the signing of an agreement after meeting his Lithuanian and Polish counterparts, Ingrida Symonite and Mateusz Morawiecki, as part of the Lublin Triangle in Kyiv on Saturday, November 26, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"We discussed the challenges related to Russian terrorist activities in terms of the destruction of our infrastructure and all the challenges we face during this heating season. [...] We discussed the issue of supplying Ukraine with generators and all the necessary equipment to survive the winter," Shmyhal said.

In addition, he said, all parties discussed the need for development and the benefits of implementing the Grain from Ukraine initiative, which will be presented today at an international forum organized by the President of Ukraine, as well as military, financial and humanitarian issues.

According to Shmyhal, all parties outlined several priority tasks, with the first and indisputable one being Ukraine's victory in the war and the restoration of its territorial integrity within internationally recognized borders.

"We received assurances from our friends and colleagues that they will stand with us until victory," Shmyhal said.

Earlier on November 26 in Kyiv, the prime ministers of Ukraine, Poland, and Lithuania signed a joint statement on intensifying the process of negotiations on Ukraine's accession to NATO, strengthening aid to Ukraine, and supporting the beginning of negotiations on Ukraine's accession to the EU.
