Avakov calls on Parliament to step up measures against violators of traffic rules

Interior Minister Arsen Avakov has called on the Verkhovna Rada to step up measures against violators of traffic rules.
He stated this on August 22, the press service of the Interior Ministry reports.
"We have submitted to Parliament a draft law, which provides for a more severe punishment for violating traffic rules. In addition, we have submitted proposals for the introduction of automatically capturing of traffic violations. This bill will radically increase the severity of punishment for drunken driving and speeding,” said Avakov.
