National Police, DEA of US Department of Justice sign Memorandum of Cooperation

The National Police of Ukraine and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) of the U.S. Department of Justice have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, the Department of Communications of the National Police of Ukraine reports.
"The signing of the memorandum was held today, June 13, with the participation of Chief of the National Police of Ukraine Serhiy Kniazev and Deputy Chief of Mission of the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine George Kent," reads the report.
In particular, the memorandum is aimed at enhancing cooperation in the exchange of information between Ukraine and the United States in the area of combating transnational drug crimes. In addition, it aims at conducting joint activities of the National Police and Drug Enforcement Administration of the U.S. Department of Justice in prevention and detection of illicit financial flows associated with drug trafficking.
