SBU seizes batch of sports calendars with annexed Crimea on Russia's map

Employees of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) have prevented the distribution of a batch of sports calendars showing annexed Crimea on a map of the Russian Federation, the SBU's press center has reported.

"Law enforcers documented the production at a private printing enterprise in Ukraine of the calendars of football matches of the 2018 World Cup depicting a map of the Russian Federation with the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea," the statement reads.

According to the SBU, these calendars were to be sold to retail outlets throughout the country.

Criminal proceedings were opened under Article 110 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The investigation is underway.
