Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov and representatives of the European Business Association (EBA) have discussed the cooperation of business and law enforcement agencies in counteracting economic crimes.

This is reported by the press service of the Internal Ministry of Ukraine.

"Today, March 13, Avakov met with representatives of the European Business Association - the largest association of 900 business companies in Ukraine. The parties discussed the cooperation of business and law enforcement agencies in countering crimes in the field of economy, intellectual property, thefts from heavy vehicles and logistics networks, as well as protection of telecommunications networks," the statement reads.

The minister notes that economic crimes are a big problem for business, and it is important to understand that it is almost impossible to combat them by force. Therefore, according to the minister, analytical centers should deal with them.
