Occupiers seized over 4,000 Ukrainian enterprises in Crimea - Lutsenko

The Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea has received information that occupiers seized over 4,000 Ukrainian enterprises on the peninsula.

Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko announced this at a briefing on Tuesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"During the investigation, the Crimean prosecutor's office received information on the seizure of more than 4,000 Ukrainian enterprises on the peninsula. An overall estimate of the damage caused by such actions to the state of Ukraine is more than a trillion hryvnias. At this point, we have carried out all the necessary procedures in order to announce that according to our legislation, this property was seized, and, accordingly, any change in its legal status will be prosecuted in accordance with Ukrainian and later international laws," Lutsenko said.

He noted that according to the claims of the victims, property worth UAH 1.6 billion had been arrested.
