Ukrainian law enforcers prevent illegal exports of agricultural products worth UAH 36 mln

The Ukrainian law enforcers have prevented attempts of illegal exports of agricultural products worth UAH 36 million, the press service of the State Fiscal Service reports.

“In the scope of the special operation Rubizh - 2017 and the investigation of criminal proceedings, it was established that the goods planned to be exported were purchased in the territory of Ukraine, and there were no relevant recordings of these transactions in tax accounting,” reads the report.

Following the inspections conducted in Odesa, more than 3.9 thousand tons of wheat and almost 4 thousand tons of corn were confiscated. In addition, on one of the ships, the law enforcers found more than 1.1 thousand tons of wheat that had already been loaded for export. At the moment, the above mentioned goods, worth approximately UAH 36 million, have been confiscated.
