Artem Sytnyk: Searches conducted at home and office of Roman Nasirov

A rage of searches was conducted at the office of Roman Nasirov and at his home yesterday, March 3.

Director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) Artem Sytnyk said this at a press briefing at Ukrinform.

According to Sytnyk, in the summer of 2016, all parliamentary factions agreed that all those involved in a corruption scheme organized by Oleksandr Onyshchenko must be brought to justice.

“The investigation was also carried out into illegal activities of representatives the Fiscal Service of Ukraine. As a result of this work, yesterday representatives of the anti-corruption prosecutor's office agreed … to detain the head of the Fiscal Service on suspicion [of involvement in this case],” he said.

Sytnyk added that NABU had no informed that Nasirov was on sick leave.

Currently the detectives are waiting for medical reports on the state of health of Roman Nasirov.
