The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) revealed that militants illegally obtained social payments in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) zone in Donbas, the SBU press service reports.

“In particular, the SBU investigators found out that over 800 Ukrainian citizens receive social payments from the state budget in Stanitsa-Luhanska district, although they live in the temporarily occupied territories,” reads a report.

With this regard, the district state administration took a decision to suspend such payments and thus saved about UAH 4 million of state budget funds.
