Deputy head of Kyiv regional prosecutor’s office arrested while taking bribe

A deputy head of Kyiv regional prosecutor’s office was detained while taking a UAH 300 million bribe.
Artem Sytnyk, the director of the National Anticorruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU), posted this on NABU’s Facebook page.
“The deputy head of Kyiv regional prosecutor’s office has been just detained. The sum [of bribe] is UAH 300 million,” reads the report.
The details of the arrest will be released in the near future, according to Artem Sytnyk.
“The details will soon appear on the official website of the Bureau,” he wrote.
