Creation of ‘Odesa People’s Republic’ prevented

The Prosecutor's Office of Odesa region has submitted to court the indictment against four people who were planning to create the "Odesa People's Republic."
The Prosecutor General's Office press service reported this to Ukrinform.
"It has been established that a citizen of the Russian Federation in collusion with a Ukrainian (the task force commander in the “DPR” terrorist organization) and two other persons in January this year united to commit the acts aimed at the seizure of state power in Odesa region and in other regions of Ukraine," the press service notes.
The criminal group planned to organize the illegal armed groups to attack the region, seize the power and transfer the state powers to the illegal entity "Odesa People's Republic."
