Russian strikes hit DTEK energy facilities in Dnipropetrovsk region
Russian forces attacked DTEK Group energy facilities in the Dnipropetrovsk region on Wednesday, August 5, leaving 126,000 households without electricity.

According to Ukrinform, DTEK announced the attack on Telegram.

The company said that repeated Russian shelling left 126,000 households in Nikopol, Marhanets, Pokrov, and nearby communities without power.

"DTEK crews began restoration work as soon as the security situation allowed. However, the damage is extensive, and repairs will take time," the company said.

Russian forces carried out nearly 50 attacks across five districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region on August 5, injuring one person.
