Fire breaks out at Russia's main missile research center near Moscow
A fire broke out on Wednesday, August 5, at TsNIIMash, the main scientific center of Russia's state space corporation Roscosmos, where ballistic missile technologies are developed.

The fire occurred at the Central Research Institute of Machine Building (TsNIIMash) in the city of Korolyov, Moscow region, Ukrinform reports, citing the Telegram channel Astra.

The cause of the fire has not been disclosed.

TsNIIMash is the leading research institute of Russia's space industry and serves as the principal scientific center of Roscosmos.

Its research is used in the development of ballistic missiles, navigation systems, satellite reconnaissance technologies, and other systems with military applications.
