Russian strike hits children's regional hospital in Zaporizhzhia
According to Ukrinform, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, reported the attack on Telegram.
"The enemy attacked the grounds of the Regional Children's Clinical Hospital. Fortunately, when the air raid alert was announced, all the children and medical staff were in the shelter. There were no casualties," Fedorov wrote.
The strike damaged the hospital's façade and shattered its windows.
Monitoring channels reported that the attack was carried out using a Russian Molniya drone. The explosion was heard in several districts of the city.
An air raid alert remains in effect in Zaporizhzhia.
As Ukrinform previously reported, Russian forces struck Zaporizhzhia earlier on Tuesday, damaging the infrastructure of a local enterprise.
