Russians launch drone strike on Chernihiv region this morning; father and his child injured
This was reported on Telegram by Viacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, according to Ukrinform.
“Early this morning, a Gerbera drone attacked a residential home in Borzna, Nizhyn district. The house caught fire. A 45-year-old man was injured, and his 14-year-old daughter is suffering from an acute stress reaction. Medical personnel provided them with on-site assistance. They are receiving outpatient treatment," Chaus said.
In addition, on the morning of June 22, the Russians struck the grounds of a lyceum in Novhorod-Siverskyi with a combat drone, shattering windows and doors, he added.
The head of the Regional Military Administration noted that over the past 24 hours, Russian troops had been shelling the Novhorod-Siverskyi district with drones. In particular, windows in homes were damaged by a drone strike in a village in the Ponornytsia community. In a village in the Korop community, dry grass caught fire. A Molniya-type drone strike on a village in the Semenivka community damaged a tractor and a farm building. In Semenivka itself, FPV drones attacked a sawmill, a railway station building, a private home, and a passenger car.
In Oster, a house’s roof was damaged as a result of a Russian attack.
Chaus added that there were also strikes on energy infrastructure.
As reported by Ukrinform, on June 18, Russian troops attacked the border areas of the Chernihiv region with drones, damaging a school building and a cultural center.
