According to Ukrinform, this was announced on Facebook by General Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

He stated that the nature of modern warfare is constantly changing. The widespread use of attack UAVs and FPV drones by Russian troops is forcing the search for effective technological solutions capable of increasing the survivability of Ukrainian units on the battlefield.

To this end, the Commander-in-Chief attended a demonstration of experimental anti-drone systems.

The event was organized by the Central Directorate for Innovation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine—a key platform for collaboration among military scientists, developers, and manufacturers of modern military technologies.

Ukrainian manufacturers presented promising developments and demonstrated their operation under conditions as close as possible to combat. The results observed confirm the high potential of these systems and their ability to significantly reduce the effectiveness of enemy aerial attack capabilities in the future, Syrskyi noted.

“For security reasons, I will not disclose the technical specifications, operating principles, or possible scenarios for the use of these new systems. Our goal is for the Russian occupiers to learn about their capabilities directly on the battlefield,” the Commander-in-Chief emphasized.

The test results will be analyzed in detail in the near future. After that, the command will decide on scaling up production and integrating these systems into the units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

“We are working to ensure that the technological advantage remains on our side,” assured the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
