War update: 204 clashes on front line, Pokrovsk direction remains hottest

According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated this on Facebook as of 22:00 on June 18 2026.

"In total, 204 combat clashes occurred since the beginning of this day. The enemy launched three missile strikes, using nine missiles, carried out 64 airstrikes, dropping 213 guided aerial bombs. In addition, it used 5,797 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,183 shellings of populated areas and positions of our troops," the post said.

According to the General Staff, in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk directions there were five clashes; the enemy carried out 60 shellings, including six using multiple launch rocket systems.

In the South Slobozhanshchyna direction, the enemy attacked our units' positions six times in the areas of Lyman and Starytsia and toward Izbytske. Two clashes are still ongoing.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attacked Defense Forces positions three times today toward Radkivka and Kolisnykivka.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 13 attempts by the invaders to advance toward the settlements of Shyikivka, Stavy, Drobysheve, and Lyman, and in the areas of Novoselivka, Derylove, Zarichne, and Yampil. Three clashes are still ongoing.

In the Sloviansk direction, the Defense Forces repelled 11 attempts by the invaders to advance toward Ray-Oleksandrivka and Kryva Luka, and in the areas of Zakitne and Kalenyky.

In the Kramatorsk direction, there was one clash with the enemy, who advanced toward Malynivka.

The Defense Forces repelled 14 enemy assaults on the Kostiantynivka direction near Pleshchiivka, Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, and Toretsk.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy carried out 27 attacks. The occupiers tried to advance in the areas of Novooleksandrivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Rodynske, Novomykolaivka, and Filiia, and toward the settlements of Bylytske, Dorozhne, Shevchenko, Serhiivka, and Novopavlivka. One clash is ongoing.

According to preliminary estimates, 41 occupiers were eliminated in this direction today, 23 more were wounded; one artillery system, two multiple launch rocket systems, three vehicles, and one special vehicle of the enemy were destroyed. Two artillery systems, two vehicles, two UAV control posts, and 16 personnel shelters were damaged. A total of 241 various types of UAVs were destroyed or suppressed.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked twice, toward Oleksandrohrad and Novozaporizhzhia.

In the Huliaipole direction, the Defense Forces repelled 20 enemy attacks toward the settlements of Dobropillia, Huliaipilske, Hirke, Tsvitkove, and Charyvne; three clashes are still ongoing.

In the Orikhiv direction, our defenders stopped three attempts by the enemy to advance in the area of Stepnohirsk.

In the Prydniprovske direction, the enemy did not conduct any offensive actions.

There were no significant changes in the situation in other directions.

As reported by Ukrinform, according to intelligence, the occupiers received orders to intensify FPV drone strikes on civilian targets in Zaporizhzhia.
