General Staff confirms strike on oil transportation infrastructure facility in Volgograd region
According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.
“The strike on the target and a fire on the facility’s grounds have been confirmed,” the statement reads.
According to the General Staff, the facility provides for the preparation, transportation, and pumping of oil through main pipelines to oil refineries and export infrastructure in the Russian Federation, specifically collecting and preparing oil from the Korobkovskoye oil and gas field and adjacent fields in the Volgograd and Astrakhan regions and the Republic of Kalmykia.
Other targets struck:
Russian military command posts in the areas of Soledar, Donetsk region, and Verkhnia Krynytsia, Zaporizhzhia region;
enemy drone control centers in the areas of Khoromnoe, Bryansk region, Russia; Verkhnia Krynytsia, Zaporizhzhia region; Voskresenka, Donetsk region; and Novomykolaivka, Kherson region.
concentration areas of Russian army personnel in the areas of Kolotilovka in the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation, Novye Yurkovichi and Chornozemny Gorodok in the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation, Soledar and Uspenivka in the Donetsk region, Holubivka in the Kharkiv region, as well as Pryvilne in the Zaporizhzhia region.
As reported by Ukrinform, information was circulating online that an industrial facility—presumably an oil pumping station—was on fire in Russia’s Volgograd region following a drone attack.
