Russian strike on farm in Kharkiv region leaves two civilians killed, three injured

Russian forces struck the village of Rokytne in Ukraine’s Kharkiv region, hitting the premises of a farm. Two people were killed and three others were injured.

According to Ukrinform, the information was reported on Telegram by Oleh Syniehubov, Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.

“The number of victims of the Russian strike on Rokytne has increased. Two people were killed while three others were injured,” Syniehubov said.

He added that emergency services are working at the scene of the attack.

Earlier, Syniehubov reported that a Russian drone had struck the farm’s territory.

“Preliminary information indicates that a private house, hay storage, and an outbuilding are on fire in the village,” he said.

As previously reported, Russian attacks on the Kharkiv region have reduced livestock production by 30–50%.

In the autumn of 2025, one of the country’s largest pig farms was destroyed. Overall, Russian forces have wiped out approximately half of the region’s pig population.
