Ukraine war update: 263 clashes in past 24 hours, heaviest fighting in Huliaipole, Pokrovsk sectors

That is according to a morning update published by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Facebook on June 3, Ukrinform reports.

Russian forces launched one missile strike involving 73 missiles and carried out 80 airstrikes, dropping 252 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they deployed 9,735 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,156 attacks, including 55 using multiple launch rocket systems.

Ukraine's Air Force, missile troops, and artillery struck two Russian troop concentration areas, two command posts, four artillery systems, and five drone control centers.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, one combat engagement was recorded. Russian forces carried out two airstrikes using three guided bombs and launched 76 attacks, including two with multiple launch rocket systems.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Russian troops launched four attacks near Starytsia and toward Izbytske and Vilcha.

In the Kupiansk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled five Russian attempts to advance toward Kupiansk, Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi, and Kurylivka.

In the Lyman sector, Russian forces attempted to break through Ukrainian defenses 14 times toward Drobysheve, Dibrova, Lyman, and near Zarichne and Yampil.

In the Sloviansk sector, invading troops carried out 20 assaults near Zakitne and Riznykivka and toward Rai-Oleksandrivka and Kryva Luka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, no offensive operations were reported.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, Russian troops launched 12 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Pleshchiivka, Stepanivka, and toward Novopavlivka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 40 Russian assaults near Rodynske, Vasylivka, Novooleksandrivka, Hryshyne, and toward Stepy, Ivanivka, Serhiivka, Shevchenko, and Dorozhnie.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, Russian troops attacked seven times near Vorone, Ternove, and toward Kalynivske.

In the Huliaipole sector, Russian forces launched 44 attacks near Dobropillia, Zlahoda, Zaliznychne, Olenokostiantynivka, Pryluky, and toward Vozdvyzhivka, Verkhnia Tersa, Huliaipilske, Charivne, Tsvitkove, and Hirke.

In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian defenders stopped three Russian attempts to advance near Shcherbaky.

In the Dnipro River sector, two Russian attacks toward the Antonivskyi Bridge were repelled.

In the Volyn and Polissia sectors, no signs of Russian offensive group formations were detected.
